Paragon System Upgrade Utilities 2010 added to the Store

Preparing your PC for a migration to a new operating system isn’t so straightforward, particularly if you are using an older OS such as Windows XP. For this reason Paragon have released their System Upgrade Utilities 2010 Suite, consisting of three Paragon tools, which includes Partition Manager 10 Personal, Virtualisation Manager, as well as a WinPE-based Recovery CD.

This is probably suited to more advanced users, whilst the Laplink Windows 7 Upgrade Assistant is more suitable for novice users.

Have you noticed the store frontpage design improvements?

We’re always seeking to improve your store and have changed and improved the design of the store homepage. The newsletter module took up a lot of real-estate so has moved to the right hand side, as a text link, under ‘Helpful Information’. It has been replaced by this Store News module which will keep you informed with the latest store additions, changes and other news.

The ‘Special Offers’ list was deemed overkill (as most software applications are on offer) so remains as a text link on the right hand side of the store, within ‘Promotional Offers’. We’ve replaced this with a list of the best-selling products through the store (which is dominated by Paragon, Kaspersky and Laplink software).

We’ve removed the more info buttons from the ‘More Featured Products’ module as these also took up too much real-estate and were unnecessary when you can simply click on the box image or software title for more information.

There is at least one other key change coming through on the store frontpage in the next week and, if you have any ideas yourself, let us know?

Two new products added to the Software Store

If you are planning on buying a new Windows 7 PC, there’s no way that you’ll want to re-install all your applications, customisations, files and other information. If you are planning on migrating data from your old XP or Vista PC, you can move across your files without having to re-install. O&O Migration Kit for Windows 7 has been added to the Software Store and this is a software kit consisting of Laplink PCmover and O&O DiskImage, both available separately in the store.

Paragon’s Drive Backup & Recovery 10 Suite has also been included and this consists of Drive Backup, System Backup 2010, their Virtualisation Manager, plus a recovery CD in case you need to salvage your system.

Cyberlink products coming to the Software Store

From December the 1st 2009, Cyberlink (www.cyberlink.com) products will be included within your Software Store. Cyberlink are well known for their DVD editing, production and viewing software, which includes PowerProducer, PowerDirector and PowerDVD. All three products will be included in the store, including others, such as Power2Go and more.

Expect other media brands to be included before the end of this year.

Directory Opus 9 added to the Software Store

If  you work with a number of files, then you may want to consider a replacement for Windows Explorer and there are few better apps that Directory Opus. This application will integrate deep in to your system and is highly-customisable. Once you’ve installed and used Opus for a month or so, we guarantee you won’t want to go back to Windows Explorer.

Directory Opus is now included in your Software Store and we’ve got the 2-user version, along with the Advanced FTP module and facility to export a customised version to your flash drive, for only £49.95 or $69.95 depending on your location. This is over 30% from the RRP.

Creativemark company website finally goes live!

We’re so busy developing our new technology that, like a number of companies, we didn’t have time to finish our company homepage, which was developed many months ago.

With the launch of the software store concept, we’re pleased to be able to find the time to make the site live. Note that we power the software store for some major publishers, but we’re only a small development consultancy. If you need to speak to someone about a transaction made through one of our software stores, speak to the Cleverbridge customer services team who provide a freephone local number for US, UK and German customers. You’ll find contact instructions when you purchase through our store. If you need software technical support, contact the developer of the software. If you need to speak with Creativemark directly, go to the Contact section on this site.
